Armed Self-Defense

These classes are generally 1 hour in length once a week for 4 weeks. The introductory course will cover defensive tactics with weapons such as: Kubatons, knives, tazers, pepper spray, and firearms. We will be providing mock practice instruments for students to use. Intermediary courses will build upon the knowledge gained in the introductory course. These will be grouped into courses specializing in "Non-Lethals", "Bladed Weapons", and "Firearms" individually.

Among other things, we will also discuss threat assessment, targeting, and deescalating a situation.

This is a very hands-on, physical course! While all fitness levels are encouraged to enroll, please be sure to come wearing flexible workout clothing and bring a water bottle.

Women’s Self-Defense

$100

These classes are 1 hour in length once a week for 4 weeks. They focus mainly on understanding a defensive encounter and how to physically and emotionally cope. We teach a variety of effective strategies then pressure test them against opponents.

This course does not specifically go into the use of weapons as defensive implements; instead, we focus on the physical requirements and emotional readiness derived from  years of practical experience.

This is a very hands-on, physical class! While all fitness levels are encouraged to enroll, please be sure to come wearing flexible workout clothing and bring a water bottle.
